My Supplement Stack
There are probably 500 different supplement companies in the fitness industry. I’m sure you're wondering how to choose which product line to invest your hard-earned money in.
When I look for supplements, this is what I look for:
What products do they sell and in what flavors?
What are my goals?
What’s my price range?
How effective are their products?
What are people saying about their products (reviews, comments, etc.)?
How's their customer service?
I’ve tried A TON of products in the fitness industry, and one brand stood out the most to me. The company I’m referring to is called “MAN Sports”. I also recommend taking a look at MAN Sports and here’s why:
Their products are not ridiculously expensive.
Every product that I’ve used has noticeably worked for me.
I read a ton of good reviews before buying anything from them.
They really do love helping their customers. How they engage with you on social media is incredible! I haven’t seen another company engage with each person like MAN Sports.
Every flavor that I’ve tried is awesome! Who else makes protein powder that tastes just like Cinnamon Toast Crunch Cereal or Amino Acids that tastes like Country Time Pink Lemonade?
Here’s my current supplement stack from MAN Sports:
Scorch
If you combine a fat-burner and pre workout, you’ll get Scorch. My favorite Scorch flavor is Pink Lemonade. They offer Mango, Kiwi-Strawberry and a few others, but they’re all VERY good! Let’s be honest. Dieting sucks! Scorch gives me an energy burst when needed and helps with controlling my appetite. Other pre workouts that I’ve taken made me feel itchy, gave me stomach pain and an energy crash. I’ve only had stomach pain from Scorch (once), but that’s because I’ve always waited too long to eat anything. After cutting my wait time down, I haven't experienced stomach pain since.
Iso-Amino BCAA
BCAA stands for Branched-Chain Amino Acids. Out of the 20 amino acids, only 9 of them are essential amino acids which means we must get them as a source through protein in our diet. Out of those 9, 3 of them are branched-chain amino acids – Leucine, Isoleucine and Valine. Although I can get BCAA's from taking EAA (Essential Amino Acids) or protein sources, the content will be higher in pure BCAA's. BCAA’s help me burn fat while supporting muscle tissue development and recovery. I did a simulated lifting meet at the end of my last 14-week training cycle. I moved a lot of weight that day, but I wasn't sore at all. My favorite Iso-Amino BCAA flavor(s)? I mix Pink Lemonade with Sour Batch quite often. It's very tart, but hey... I love it!

Iso-Protein
Iso-Protein is Whey Protein Isolate. They also have Clean Protein on the site too. The difference between the two is you know exactly what you’re getting and how much of it. It’s very rare to see companies tell you this, but MAN Sports does with the Clean Protein. You’ll generally see Whey Protein Isolate and/or Whey Protein Concentrate in protein powder. The difference between Whey Protein Isolate and Whey Protein Concentrate is the processing steps it takes to get each one. This means the protein content will be a little higher while the carb and fat content is less with Protein Isolate which is what I want in my shaker cup. Keep in mind that Protein Isolate is usually more expensive due to the processing steps it takes to obtain a higher protein content. I sometimes take my protein after a workout if I’m not eating right away. There are almost a dozen of different Iso-Protein Flavors too. I currently use Fruity Rubbles (Fruity Pebbles Cereal flavored) and Peanut Butter Bits.
Body Octane & Blockbuster
Another great product is the pre workout - Body Octane. It's considered stimulant-free which means there’s no caffeine, green tea, etc. I don’t believe MAN Sports stocks Body Octane anymore which is a bummer. I like the Lemon-Lime flavor a lot and switched to Blockbuster most recently, and it's just as good to be honest. You can choose Apple Juice, Blue Razz or do what I do and alternate between the two. They also have other pre workouts in the lineup like GameDay. Keep in mind that GameDay is the strongest pre workout that I've ever tried and probably the strongest pre workout that you'll find!
I recommend that you see a Licensed Physician, Dietician, Nutritionist, etc. before taking any supplements. They'll be able to help you determine which and if any supplements are right for you.
